Who we are Il Magistrale Cycling Coffee was founded in 2017 after spending a year volunteering at a care home as a coffee roaster. The idea behind the brand is the decades-old connection between cycling and coffee (think Eddy Merckx with Faema, Trek-Segafredo etc). We started by giving some coffees names that have a direct connection to cycling as in nicknames of riders (Bom van Balen = Tom Boonen), mountains (Cima Coppi = Stelvio) or the Lion of Flanders. We roast our coffee in the south of The Netherlands and sell it mainly through bike cafes, bike shops and our website: www.magistralecyclingcoffee.cc A collaboration with gravel guru Laurens ten Dam gave our brand the right push and we are now preferred supplier of Visma|LAB and the women’s team of Canyon|SRAM. This means we travel with the teams during classics and the tours to make coffee for them. We are also very active during tours such as the Ronde cyclo, Amstel Gold Race, Gent-Wevelgem and Limburgs Mooiste. In October 2023, we opened our first coffee bar next to our office in Heeze (below Eindhoven) and we are in the process of organizing our own events from there.
