Storck Zeitjaeger Platinum 56R – Premium wheelset for road bike performance

The Zeitjaeger Platinum 56R is a high-end wheelset from the performance segment of Storck Bicycle. It was specially developed for ambitious road cyclists who want to combine high aerodynamics, direct power transmission and long-lasting smoothness. With its balanced mix of stiff carbon construction and high-quality bearing technology, it sets new standards in terms of efficiency and speed on fast road sections.

Aerodynamic peak performance & efficiency

With a rim profile of 56 mm in height, the Zeitjaeger Platinum 56R delivers excellent aerodynamic properties that noticeably reduce drag at high speeds and give the rider a real performance advantage. The outer width of 33 mm and the inner rim width of 23 mm are designed to optimally support modern tire widths and at the same time ensure stable crosswind performance.

Carbon construction & high-quality bearings

At 1,350 g, the wheelset is very light and robust at the same time, which keeps the overall mass of the wheelset low and promotes a lively, responsive ride. In combination with high-quality ceramic bearings, the result is an extremely smooth ride with reduced rolling resistance – a decisive advantage for long rides or intensive competition.

Compatibility & area of application

The Zeitjaeger Platinum 56R is tubeless-ready and compatible with tire widths from 25 – 45 mm, which covers a wide range of applications – from classic smooth road bike tires to modern, slightly wider models. It is available with various freehub body options:

SHI variant for Shimano 10-/11-/12-speed systems

XDR variant for SRAM 12-speed drivetrains

The standardized installation dimensions of 100 mm front / 142 mm rear ensure broad compatibility with current road bike and all-road setups.
