With the BALDISO Zenith, BALDISO is pursuing an ambitious and deliberately offensive goal:
the development of the best road bike frameset in the world.
Not as a marketing promise, but as a clearly defined, measurable claim.
BALDISO is the initiator, content provider and responsible for the overall concept, the performance target and the objective comparability of the results. The claim “world’s best performance” forms the basis of all development decisions.
The frame set was developed in close cooperation with CarbonWorks as the technical development and design partner. Based on the target parameters defined by BALDISO – aerodynamics, stiffness, weight and comfort – the frame concept was iteratively designed, tested and continuously optimized. The aim was not just to excel in individual disciplines, but to create a road bike that sets new standards in terms of overall performance.
In order to verify this claim, BALDISO consistently follows the recognized measurement and comparison standards of TOUR magazine. This means that the BALDISO Zenith deliberately puts itself in direct comparison with the best racing bikes in the international industry.
Even the first prototype achieved exceptional results in the wind tunnel: With 199 watts at 45 km/h, the BALDISO Zenith is one of the most aerodynamically efficient road bike frames measured to date according to the TOUR standard. At the same time, the frame remains extremely light at around 800 grams for a consistently aero-optimized race bike. Bottom bracket stiffness and comfort properties are also quantitatively recorded and specifically developed further, with the clear aim of achieving the best overall performance ever measured.
The BALDISO Zenith is manufactured in Germany by Bike Ahead Composites. BALDISO deliberately relies on Bike Ahead’s proven manufacturing expertise in the field of highly complex carbon structures. Each carbon layer is processed by hand, which enables the highest structural quality and an exceptional surface appearance – including the optional carbon raw look.
The BALDISO Zenith project thus stands for an uncompromising approach to high-end road bike construction:
the clear vision of building the best road bike in the world – developed in close partnership with CarbonWorks, manufactured with German carbon know-how and proven by objective measurement data.
The market launch of the BALDISO Zenith is planned for the beginning of May.
