Orbea Rallon RS – A new era of performance

The Rallon RS marks the next step in Orbea’s rider synergy philosophy. It combines state-of-the-art system integration with a natural, powerful ride feel – for a trail and enduro experience without compromise. Finely dosed support makes climbing easier, while the bike impresses downhill with precision, composure and predictability. The Rallon RS defines how a performance-oriented trail bike of the future can function.

One system. One experience. Fully integrated.

The Rallon RS combines motor, chassis, Vario support, gears, battery and remote into a single, intelligent overall system.

  • Central energy source for a clean look and easy charging
  • Real-time communication of all components via Orbea’s own interface
  • RS-HMI Control: engine modes, suspension profiles and dropper functions can be controlled without taking your hands off the handlebars

Together with TQ and Fox, Orbea has developed a setup that is unique in the industry:

  • The Fox eNEO Live Valve shock, the MC10-RS dropper post and the TQ motor are constantly exchanging data.
  • The chassis responds to cadence, power and speed.
  • The dropper position is recorded several times per second and influences the damper behavior.
  • The motor recognizes the gradient and riding position and automatically adjusts the assistance.

The result: a system that thinks intuitively and provides optimum support in every driving situation.

Subtle support – naturally uphill

The Rallon RS is not a classic e-bike. It is a trail bike with support that preserves the natural riding experience.

  • TQ HPR40: 40 Nm torque, up to 200 W peak power
  • RS tuning: quiet, sensitive, never dominant
  • 290 Wh battery for 1,200-1,800 vertical meters
  • Optional 160 Wh range extender for 55 % more range

The support compensates for the additional weight of a long-travel bike without distorting the experience. The power input remains authentic – as does the feeling afterwards.

Maximum downhill control

The Rallon RS is based on the downhill DNA of the downhill-proven Rallon.

  • Low and centrally positioned motor and battery for exceptionally smooth running
  • State-of-the-art carbon layup for maximum stiffness with minimum use of material
  • Geometry refined over years of racing

Versatile and customizable:

  • Full-29″ or mullet setup without geometry changes
  • Flip chip: -8 mm bottom bracket, -0.5° steering angle
  • Adjustable headset: ±0.75°

Thanks to Orbea’s Steep-‘n’-Deep design, every frame size can accommodate long dropper posts – up to 210 mm, in L/XL even up to 240 mm.

The way forward

The Rallon RS is an expression of Orbea’s cooperative structure: a bike created out of conviction, not market pressure. It was developed to push boundaries and open up new perspectives for performance mountain bikes. The findings from this project will flow into future high-end models – and shape the next generation of mountain biking.
