The BALDISO ZENITH is not a marketing promise, but consistently pursues the goal of building what is in fact the best road bike in the world –
and proving this with facts and figures in the four most important areas of modern high-end road bikes.
Aerodynamics
The first 3D-printed prototype already achieved a value of 199 watts (at 45 km/h) in the wind tunnel according to the Tour test standard. This already made it one of the fastest racing bikes in the world. There are currently only two faster racing bikes according to this measurement standard.
Weight
At 790 g (size M), the frame is one of the lightest consistently aero-optimized road bikes in its class. Pure aero frames currently weigh around 900 g. As a set (incl. handlebar-stem unit), this results in a weight saving of 250-300 g compared to other aero bikes –
in RAW optics even more.
Stiffness
Another important factor is stiffness, in particular the bottom bracket stiffness of over 65 Nm. This ensures optimum power transmission. The top values of the best racing bikes are over 60 Nm. The challenge is to build a voluminous aero racing bike that is both light and stiff at the same time.
Comfort
A specially developed seatpost solution specifically improves comfort, especially in the seating area. This is crucial for a pleasant riding experience over longer distances. Aero road bikes tend to be stiff overall, even in the seating area. The Zenith, on the other hand, combines stiffness in the bottom bracket with comfort in the seating area.
