The Cannondale FlyingV redefines urban commuting by combining Cannondale’s signature racing, fitness and commuting DNA in a modern design. It was developed in Freiburg and assembled in our factory in Almelo. The FlyingV also has a full carbon frame and a full carbon fork. A kickstand, carbon mudguards, lighting and luggage rack mounts (up to 18 kg) are obligatory. The design is derived from the legendary Cannondale DeltaV from the 90s. The riding characteristics: agile, precise and responsive – like our racing bikes, but intuitive enough to be convincing in tight, urban everyday life. The Gates belt drive and Shimano hub gears (Di2 on the V1) ensure low maintenance and a smooth and intuitive ride. Powered by a compact Bosch SX motor and a 400 Wh battery, the FlyingV offers a smooth, safe and enjoyable commuting experience with its high-quality components and iconic design.
The FlyingV is lightweight, low-maintenance, unique in its design language and convincing in everyday urban life. Its geometry reflects Cannondale’s racing heritage while offering comfort and first-class riding dynamics for everyday use. With features such as the app tag integrated into the stem, which automatically launches the Cannondale app, or the automatic shifting function of the Shimano Di2 hub gears, the focus is on user-friendliness and rider safety. The FlyingV is more than just a bike – it’s a statement.
