The African continent is a dream gravel bike destination, and not just thanks to events such as the Atlas Mountain Race in Morocco, the Migration Gravel Race in Kenya or the Gravel Burn in South Africa. However, Europeans on the move on this huge continent cannot escape the historical responsibility that we have as a result of colonization and the exploitation of people and nature. This is the subject of GRAVELBIKE Magazine’s Gravel Talk at Cyclingworld Europe, powered by Schicke Mütze. Guests include ex-professional footballer Neven Suboti’c, founder of the well:fair foundation, amateur cyclist Jörg Schubert, the brains behind the CYCLE4WATER project, and Africa-affine cycling photographer Nils Laengner.
