With CLIFF and CARRIE, Wholegrain Cycles presents two independent products that pursue a common goal: To make bikepacking easier, more accessible and more durable. Both solutions exemplify the brand’s anthropocentric development approach – functional, reduced and without unnecessary complexity.

CLIFF is a universal handlebar bag holder that positions almost any two-belt handlebar bag around 5 cm in front of the handlebars. This means that the upper handlebar can be used freely again, especially on drop-bar bikes – without any annoying tensioning straps. At the same time, CLIFF reliably keeps the bag away from the head tube and the brake and gear cables and ensures that the tires are constantly clear, even with changing loads or on rough surfaces. The result: more control, more comfort and a clean, tidy handlebar area. CLIFF can be fitted without tools, fits all standard handlebar diameters and is available in stainless steel (RRP EUR 79.99) and as a lightweight titanium version (CLIFF Ti – RRP EUR 129.99).

CARRIE complements this approach with a deliberately simplified handlebar bag system consisting of a cradle and waterproof 18-liter drybag. Instead of several pairs of straps, only two lashing straps are used, which simultaneously take on the task of securing and compressing. This significantly reduces assembly work and weight. Additional attachment points allow flexible expansion of the setup. A special feature is the consistent material strategy: the holder is made entirely from PET-based materials and is therefore particularly easy to recycle as a mono-material construction – a clear step towards sustainable product design in the bikepacking segment.

Together, CLIFF and CARRIE each provide a tidy, safe and versatile transport setup – for daily commuting to multi-day off-road tours.
