Grevet #1 2026 Lower Rhine: Into the Niederbergische. Powered by Cycling Club Düsseldorf
The start of the Grevet gravel long-distance quartet on the Lower Rhine. To the west of Düsseldorf, between the rivers Wupper and Ruhr, lies the Niederbergische Land. From the floodplains along the Rhine, the route takes you into the northern part of the region on gently undulating terrain. The route combines secluded forest passages with agricultural paths over open heights towards and along the Saarner Ruhrauen. Within sight of the Ruhr area with its steel and chemical industries, you roll back over an almost 100-year-old steel bridge over the Rhine.
Location: The Social Grevet will start together at 10:15 a.m. on March 21, 2026 at the corner of Hansaallee and Büdericher Strasse in the immediate vicinity of the trade fair entrance.
