URWAHN WALDWIESEL – Titanium Gravel E-Bike

Product description

The URWAHN Waldwiesel – Titan Gravel E-Bike stands for titanium as the new standard in modern bicycle construction and shows what the next step in series development looks like. High technology is consistently brought to where it is used: on the road, on the gravel, in everyday life. With Ti64 and additive manufacturing, titanium is used as a material for high-end gravel bikes in series production – precise, durable and functionally designed.

The frame follows a hybrid architecture of additively manufactured titanium components and conventional structural components. The design and material distribution are based on load paths and functional requirements rather than classic tubular logic. With a frame weight of 1.45 kg, the construction is consistently designed for lightweight construction and is also fully e-bike-compatible.

The integrated URWAHN SOFTRIDE principle is an integral part of the frame architecture and ensures targeted compliance, high control and sustainable riding comfort over long distances – without additional dampers and without compromising structural stability. The modular SOFTRIDE platform allows the bike to be built as an organic or e-gravel bike on the same design basis. A frame that is not limiting, but adapts to different usage scenarios.

Production is carried out in series in Germany using the on-demand production approach. Additive manufacturing is used where it offers functional advantages, supplemented by established manufacturing processes. Without overproduction and without stock items, a scalable frame concept is created that combines precision, durability and industrial series maturity. The Waldwiesel Titan Gravel E-Bike is not a concept – it is a benchmark for modern series production.
