CYCLINGWORLD EUROPE AWARDS 2026

The popular Cyclingworld Europe Awards will be launched in 2026 with exciting new developments. While the expert jury will once again present awards to the best of the best in a total of nine categories this year, the public will once again independently select three winners (gold, silver and bronze) in the community voting. The jury has no influence whatsoever here – the decisions are entirely in the hands of the visitors!

With this format, we want to incorporate the opinion and feedback of the cycling community even more. The other awards are presented by the specialist jury, which is made up of industry experts.

In 2026, there will again be a total of nine categories to choose from, including seven specifically for bikes: Best Cargo Bike, Best Gravel Bike, Best Kids Bike, Best MTB/ATB Bike, Best Race Bike, Best Classic Urban Bike & Best Urban E-Bike. The Urban Bike category is split into Urban Classic Bikes and Urban E-Bikes. In all other bike categories, suggestions with “E” as well as without “E” are accepted.

In addition, there are two further categories: Best Fashion & Accessories and Best Parts/Components/Technology.

Look forward to inspiring innovations, outstanding design and extraordinary concepts that will shape the cycling world of tomorrow. As usual, the awards will be presented at Cyclingworld Europe 2026, which will take place in Düsseldorf from March 20 to 22, 2026.

After the end of the nomination phase, the expert jury examines all submitted products in the background and selects their favorites for the final jury vote. While the products are visible in the online voting tool, the jury gets a comprehensive overview and decides which favorites it would like to see at the jury meeting on site. We will contact you in good time if your product has to be on site during the jury meeting.
⚠️ Important note: Only products that are actually presented on site during the jury meeting can be evaluated. An assessment is not possible without an on-site presence.

There is also a separate community vote. All products submitted automatically take part. (Except products with embargo) All participants should actively promote their products, as the voting is open to the public and the three products with the most votes will be recognized across all categories. These are awarded the titles Gold, Silver and Bronze – Community Voting. (Important: There is not one community winner in each category, but only these three prizes in total).

Furthermore, an additional title will be awarded in each category: Most Voted. This is awarded to the product with the most votes in the respective category. This title is an Honorable Mention and is awarded with a certificate, but is not associated with an award ceremony on stage.

As a designer, I focus on functionality, quality of detail and durability as well as formal aesthetics. I am very excited about the innovative ideas that will be presented to us as a jury. It fascinates me how the bicycle product concept, which has been around for so long, is constantly being reinterpreted. And that's a good thing - because against the backdrop of climate change and in terms of a multimodal transport system, the bicycle is becoming increasingly important as a means of transportation."
