Cargo Bike Polo

Brief description

The Lastenhelfer Düsseldorf are organizing Europe’s second cargo bike polo tournament in Düsseldorf. Two teams consisting of two cargo bikes, e.g. longjohn, longtail or bike with trailer, will play against each other on two goals in two 5-minute matches. Each bike has a rider and a racket. Fair play and protection of equipment are paramount.

Conditions of participation

You must bring your own bikes, but we also have one or two bikes available for hire by arrangement. Balls and polo mallets are also available. Children from the age of 9 (with their parents’ permission) may also play as beaters, but only people who are able to ride safely with “dynamic” loads should ride the Cargobike. Protective clothing is recommended and everyone acts at their own risk.
